About Josemaría Alonso

Author  |  Musician |  Professor

Had he lived during the period of the revival of learning, author, musician, sports lover, lecturer, champion of distance learning, and university professor, Josemaría would have been at the vanguard of the Renaissance Movement.

The scope of his knowledge is vast, having earned many degrees from various notable centers of higher learning: Centro de Merced, Universidad Barcelona, Universidad de Deusto, Universidad de País Vasco, Universidad Bilbao, Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad de Complutense, Centro Nacional de Silos, Dirección General de Música, Consejo Superior del Deporte, Colegio Licenciados Doctores, Editorial Luis Vives, Escuela Grafología, Centro de Parapsicología.

Between classroom lectures and seminars, he has managed to author fifty-two books on a variety of subjects, including Animación socio-cultural y una reflexión sobre EPA (Servicio del Publicaciones del País Vasco, Vitoria 1987), Adultos analfabetos y las nuevas tecnologías (Narces S.A.de Ediciones, Madrid, 1988), La vida con la naturaleza (Bilbao, 1996), La familia del siglo XXI (Bilbao, 1999), La bicicleta: mitad aventura, mitad participación (Bilbao, 1999), Rutas: agrícola, campanas, flora, fauna, ferrocarril (Bilbao, 1999), Somos contemplativos (Bilbao, 1999).

Recently he retired from his teaching activities to give himself ample time to share his knowledge with many people anytime and anywhere he wishes.
